Dr. Buddhima is a dedicated rural General Practitioner with a strong commitment to delivering holistic, patient-centred care across all aspects of general practice.

She graduated with her MBBS from the esteemed Faculty of Medicine at the University of Colombo in Sri Lanka. Following her medical degree, she obtained a Diploma in Geriatric Medicine and a Certificate in Emergency Medicine, further strengthening her ability to care for patients across the lifespan and in acute settings.

Dr. Buddhima has extensive experience in general medicine, minor surgical procedures, women’s health, elderly care, ophthalmology, and emergency medicine. She began her career in Australia as an Emergency Registrar at Campbelltown Hospital before transitioning to rural general practice, where she continues to provide compassionate and comprehensive care to her community.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Buddhima enjoys dancing, travelling, and spending quality time with her family embracing a balanced and well-rounded approach to life and wellbeing.
