Dr Ishara is a dedicated medical professional with over 10 years of experience in the field. Originally from Sri Lanka, she completed her medical degree and undertook specialist training in Emergency Medicine before relocating to Australia in 2023. Since moving, she has gained valuable experience working in the Emergency Departments of Campbelltown and Camden Hospitals for two years, before transitioning into general practice.
Dr Ishara has a special interest in children’s and women’s health and is passionate about providing compassionate, patient-centred care to individuals and families at all stages of life.
Outside of her medical career, Dr Ishara is a proud mother of two young children. She enjoys spending her spare time travelling, exploring photography, and immersing herself in a good book.
